Overview



	The Jacksonville Transportation Authority announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, January 23, 2014, 5 -7 p.m.

PLACE:	Florida State College at Jacksonville Kent Campus F128 Auditorium 3939 Roosevelt Boulevard Jacksonville, FL 32205

Subject:	The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), in cooperation with the Federal Transit Administration, is conducting a planning and environmental study for the proposed implementation of a bus rapid transit (BRT) system. The corridor will extend approximately 12.7 miles south of downtown Jacksonville from the Convention Center to the Orange Park Mall on Blanding Boulevard. The purpose of the meeting is to kick off the corridor study, provide project information, and seek public comments about the project’s features, station alternatives, and potential impact.
