Overview



	The Department of Transportation, District One, announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 3, 2014, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

PLACE:	Immokalee One-Stop Career Center, 750 S. Fifth Street, Immokalee, FL

Subject:	SR 29 Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study in Immokalee. The study proposes improvements to SR 29 from Oil Well Road to SR 82 in Collier County. Transportation improvements may expand SR 29 from two lanes to four lanes and/or consider alternatives that bypass downtown Immokalee. People can attend at any time during the two-hour open house. Project staff will display plans and answer questions about proposed widening alternatives for SR 29. The PD&E study will produce a conceptual design for acceptance by the Federal Highway Administration.
