Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, July 30, 2014, beginning with an open house at 5:30 PM and a formal presentation at 6:00 PM

PLACE:	Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 SE Airoso Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34984

Subject:	The Public Hearing is on the proposed improvements to Port St. Lucie Boulevard from Becker Road to Darwin Boulevard. The improvements consist of widening Port St. Lucie Boulevard from two to four lanes with a four foot wide bicycle lane and eight foot wide sidewalk on each side. This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Draft project documents will be available for public review from July 9, 2014 to August 11, 2014 on the project website (www.PSLBlvd.com), at the St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization office located at 466 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, Florida, 34953, and at the Port St. Lucie City Hall located at 121 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, Florida, 34984;. Persons wishing to submit statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the Hearing or by sending them to Mr. Ray Holzweiss, P.E., FDOT Project Manager at 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33309 or at ray.holzweiss@dot.state.fl.us. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before August 11, 2014 will become part of the Public Hearing record. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
