Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District Six announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Miami Beach Regional Library, located at 227 22 Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Subject:	FDOT, District Six, will conduct a public kick-off meeting for the Venetian Causeway Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. Project Limits: North Bayshore Drive in Miami to Purdy Avenue in Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, Florida. Financial Project Number: 422713-2-22-01. Efficient Transportation Decision-Making (ETDM) Number: 12756. The study will examine the potential replacement or rehabilitation of the twelve existing bridges (ten low-level fixed spans and two movable bascule drawbridges) on the Venetian Causeway. The kick-off meeting seeks to increase the public’s understanding of the study and encourage participation and continuous feedback. In addition, the meeting will provide an introduction of the project and present information regarding the existing conditions and the schedule for the study.
