69A-46.016

Insurance Requirements (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The repeal of the rule removes the requirement that fire protection contractors use a specific form as the only means of evidence of insurance coverage.

SUMMARY:

Rule 69A-46.016, F.A.C., adopts a form used as evidence that fire protection contractors have insurance coverage as required by section 633.521, F.S.  The form identifies specific coverage which is not available in the insurance market.  The rule is being repealed to allow fire protection contractors to provide evidence of insurance coverage by other means (i.e. standard proof of insurance forms used by carriers under existing business practices).
