Care of Inmates

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule is to increase security and to promote the safety of inmates and staff by allowing for clipper shaves three times per week at certain Department of Corrections institutions and facilities under certain circumstances in order to limit the availability and use of razors by inmates.
