Overview



	The Agency for Health Care Administration announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	September 23, 2014; 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Agency for Health Care Administration, Building 3, Conference Room A, 2727 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Those not able to attend in person may participate via conference phone by calling 1-888-670-3525 and entering the participant pass code 3715274100 followed by the # sign.

Subject:	The purpose of this meeting is to discuss regular agenda topics and activities of the Medical Care Advisory Committee and to solicit input from the Medical Care Advisory Committee and its subpopulation advisory committees, beneficiaries and all stakeholders and interested parties on the state’s 2014 update to the Florida Medicaid Draft Comprehensive Quality Strategy. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires the state adopt, implement, and regularly update a comprehensive continuous quality improvement strategy, known as the Comprehensive Quality Strategy, which focuses on all aspects of quality improvement in Medicaid, including managed care and fee-for-service programs. The Agency for Health Care Administration will post the 2014 update to the Florida Medicaid Draft Comprehensive Quality Strategy to its website for 30 days from September 15, 2014 to October 15, 2014 to solicit public input from all stakeholders and interested parties prior to submitting the updated draft document to CMS. The 2014 update to the Florida Medicaid Draft Comprehensive Quality Strategy will be posted on the Agency’s website at the following link: http://ahca.myflorida.com/Medicaid/quality_mc/index.shtml Written comments will be accepted for a period of 30 days from September 15, 2014 to October 15, 2014.
