Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	December 4, 2014, 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

PLACE:	Joe Celestin Center, 1525 N.W. 135th Street, North Miami, Florida 33168

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Six, currently is conducting the State Road (S.R.) 7/U.S. 441/W 7th Avenue Corridor Study, from S.R. 90/ U.S. 41/S.W. 8th Street to the Golden Glades Interchange Park & Ride Lot, Financial Management Number 432639-2-22-01. This planning study will identify strategies and develop design concepts aimed to enhance safety and mobility along the 10-mile corridor by improving roadway, bicycle and transit facilities while also striving to balance livability considerations such as sidewalks and landscaping. FDOT will conduct three similar Public Workshops for the S.R. 7/U.S. 441/W 7th Avenue Corridor Study. All meetings will follow an open-house format where participants will be able to offer feedback on corridor-specific issues, review draft improvement concepts, and informally discuss the project with members of the study team. Participants also will be able to submit written comments to the project team if they so desire. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
