Gold Seal Quality Care Program (Transferred)

PURPOSE:

Chapter 2010-210, s.7, Laws of Florida, amended section 402.281(2), Florida Statutes, to require the department to adopt rules to establish Gold Seal Quality Care accreditation standards for child care facilities. Chapter 2010-210, s. 7, Laws of Florida, also amended section 402.281(5), Florida Statutes, to require the department to adopt rules for approving accrediting associations for participation in Gold Seal Quality Care Program.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule will require minimum standards for child care providers seeking Gold Seal designation and establish minimum standards and an approval process for accrediting associations participating in the Gold Seal Quality Care Program.
