PURPOSE:

The purposes and effects of this rule development effort are to establish or revise rule provisions, during calendar year 2015, associated with general prohibitions pertaining to wildlife and freshwater fish resources, take of wildlife and freshwater fish with a gun at night, introduction and inspection of carriers of disease, importation of wildlife species in the family Cervidae, possession and release of live mallards, importation and possession of carcasses from wildlife species in the family Cervidae, exclusion of certain areas from open season, and the take of wildlife on roads and rights-of-way.

SUBJECT:

Subject areas covered in the proposed rule include general prohibitions pertaining to wildlife and freshwater fish resources, take of wildlife and freshwater fish with a gun at night, introduction and inspection of carriers of disease, importation of wildlife species in the family Cervidae, possession and release of live mallards, importation and possession of carcasses from wildlife species in the family Cervidae, exclusion of certain areas from open season, and the take of wildlife on roads and rights-of-way.
