RULE:

64B14-4.001	Approved Examinations
64B14-4.003	Documentation of Eligibility for Licensure

PURPOSE:

For 4.001, to clarify that applicants must pass the American Board for Certification examination in effect at the time of application or, if previously certified, at the time of certification; for 4.003, to allow applicants who cannot supply patient logs as proof of completion of an internship to substitute documentation from the American Board for Certification.

SUMMARY:

4.001 clarifies which licensing examination must be passed; and 4.003 allows applicants to substitute documentation from the American Board for Certification, instead of patient logs, as proof of completion of an internship.
