Design of Structural Systems Utilizing Open Web Steel Joists and Joist Girders

PURPOSE:

The Board proposes the rule amendment to delete unnecessary language and to add new language to clarify the requirements for the design of structural systems utilizing open web steel joists and joist girders.

The rule amendment will delete unnecessary language and add new language to clarify the requirements for the design of structural systems utilizing open web steel joists and joist girders.
