Overview



	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, September 10, 2015, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In the event that severe weather or other unforeseen conditions cause the meeting to be postponed, it will be held on the alternative date of September 16, 2015 at the same time and place.

PLACE:	River Walk Center, 600 North Indian Drive, Fort Pierce, Florida 34950

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four will be hosting an Alternatives Public Meeting for the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for SR A1A North Causeway Bridge from US 1 to approximately 2,000 feet east of the existing bridge in St. Lucie County (Financial Project ID Number: 429936-2-22-01). The Alternatives Public Meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is being held to allow interested persons an opportunity to discuss with staff the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed project alternatives for the PD&E Study. The primary purpose of this PD&E Study is to evaluate bridge replacement alternatives, which will resolve the structurally deficient conditions of the existing bridge and enhance regional mobility for the area bound by this study.
