RULE:

69A-39.009

Renewal of Firesafety Inspector and Fire Code Administrator Certification (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The rule is being updated to conform to changes to subsection 633.216(4), Florida Statutes.  The continuing education period for renewal of certification of fire inspectors and fire code administrators is now four years rather than three.  The continuing education hour requirement is changed from 40 hours in a three-year cycle to 54 hours in a four-year cycle.

SUMMARY:

The continuing education hour requirement has changed to 54 hours in a four-year period.
