Overview



	The The Department of Children and Families announces a public meeting to discuss the eligibility determination process for Medicaid benefits based on age or disability, including nursing home care announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	February 28, 2006, 9:00 a.m.

PLACE:	DCF, 210 N. Palmetto Avenue, Suite 148, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.

Subject:	To gather information and comments on the eligibility determination process for Medicaid benefits based on age or disability, including nursing home care. The process includes the electronic web based application, referrals, notices and communication with staff. (Note: The meeting is not intended to address eligibility criteria such as income and asset limits, or service issues such as access to prescription drugs.)
