Overview



	The Department of Children and Families announces a public meeting to discuss the eligibility determination process for Medicaid benefits based on age or disability, including nursing home care announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	February 28, 2006 at 9:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Department of Children and Families Service Center, 340 Beal Parkway NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548, Room 128 (Economic Self-Sufficiency Entrance).

Subject:	To gather information and comments on the eligibility determination process for Medicaid benefits based on age or disability, including nursing home care. The process includes the electronic web based application, referrals, notices and communication with staff. (Note: The meeting is not intended to address eligibility criteria such as income and asset limits, or service issues such as access to prescription drugs.)
