Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, February 11, 2016 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Rural Heritage Center (a.k.a., Historic Geneva School House) at 101 East Main Street, Geneva, Florida 32732

Subject:	On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the public is invited to a meeting regarding improvements for State Road (SR) 46 from SR 415 (Lake Mary Boulevard) to east of Lake Proctor Court to improve roadway safety, serve the community’s needs, and improve the quality of life for residents. The project will widen the roadway to add eastbound and westbound left turn lanes at Cochran Road, extend the existing westbound left turn lane at Woodridge Drive, and add an eastbound pavement taper at Richmond Avenue. The project also includes adding bicycle lanes at existing right turn lane locations, signalization upgrades at County Road (CR) 426, signing and pavement marking upgrades, the paving of some minor side street approaches and miscellaneous drainage improvements. The project is currently funded for construction. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
