Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, March 10, 2016 - 5 p.m. "open house", 6 p.m. formal presentation

PLACE:	Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 833 Magellan Drive, Sarasota, FL 34243

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is holding a public hearing to discuss the 15th Street East/301 Boulevard East Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study from Tallevast Road to US 41 in Manatee County, Florida. Beginning at 5 p.m., people can view the recommended alternative and proposed improvements, ask questions, and provide comments to FDOT representatives. The formal public hearing begins at 6 p.m. A hearing moderator will offer introductory remarks and a slide presentation will follow describing the project to widen existing two-lane 15th Street East/301 Boulevard East to add a center turn lane and several Complete Street improvements. During the intermission, people can sign up to make oral comments. Those who do not wish to speak can submit written comments.
