RULE:

5C-16.001	Definitions
5C-16.021	Intrastate Movement of Domestic Fowl

PURPOSE:

Repeals unnecessary rule and creates definitions and testing requirements for domestic fowl, poultry, poultry products, and ratites prior to intrastate movement within Florida if Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza is identified in the states of Alabama, Georgia, or Mississippi.  The revisions will clarify requirements and strengthen the State’s animal health protection strategy.

SUBJECT:

Testing requirements for importation of domestic fowl, poultry, poultry products or ratites.
