PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule development is to: (1) revise the requirements associated with the different project levels based on the risk and complexity assessment; (2) update the AST-F-0505B Status Report form to ensure it captures information necessary to efficiently report project status information; (3) provide clarification regarding project oversight requirements contained in .009; and (4) update definitions and amend other rules contained in rule chapter 74-1 consistent with these changes.

SUBJECT:

Project Management – the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations from a project.
Oversight – regular review and evaluation of project activities to ensure compliance with scope, schedule and cost baselines as well industry standard project management practices.
