Requirements for Programs and Courses that are Funded Through the Florida Education Finance Program and for Which the Student May Earn Credit Toward High School Graduation

PURPOSE:

This amendment updates the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” by which school districts receive Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP) funding and the form to request a new course.  The effect will be an updated directory of courses for students to take to earn credit toward high school graduation.

SUMMARY:

This rule amendment will incorporate the following changes into the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” document: identify courses for deletion in the 2017-18 school year, remove deleted courses, reclassify two courses as electives and revise the form used to request to add a new course to the directory.
