64B17-3.001	Licensure

PURPOSE:

The Board proposes the rule amendment to rule 64B17-3.001 to modify the rule title to delete unnecessary language and to add new language to clarify the procedures for licensure and to renumber the rule accordingly; the proposed rule amendment to rule 64B17-3.002 is to modify the rule title, delete unnecessary language and to add new language to clarify the procedures for licensure examinations and to renumber the rule accordingly; the proposed amendment to rule 64B17-3.006 is to delete reference to Department Rule 64B-1.004, F.A.C., and to add new language to clarify penalties for subverting or undermining the examination process and; the proposed promulgation and adoption of rule 64B17-3.007 is to set forth procedures for Board approved credentialing agencies and evaluation reports.

SUMMARY:

The rule amendment to rule 64B17-3.001 will modify the rule title to delete unnecessary language and  add new language to clarify the procedures for licensure by examination and by endorsement for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants and to renumber the rule accordingly; the proposed rule amendment to rule 64B17-3.002 will modify the rule title, delete unnecessary language and add new language to clarify the procedures for licensure examinations and to renumber the rule accordingly; the proposed amendment to rule 64B17-3.006 will delete reference to Department Rule 64B-1.004, F.A.C., and add new language to clarify penalties for subverting or undermining the examination process and; the proposed promulgation and adoption of rule 64B17-3.007 will set forth procedures for Board approved credentialing agencies and evaluation reports.
