PURPOSE:

The above-mentioned rules are being amended to: revise the requirements associated with the different project levels based on the risk and complexity assessment; update the AST-F-0505B Status Report form to ensure it captures information necessary to efficiently report project status information; provide clarification regarding project oversight requirements contained in Rule 74-1.009; F.A.C., and; update definitions consistent with these changes.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rulemaking updates the Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards to provide greater clarity regarding project management and standards that state agencies must comply with when implementing information technology projects.
