Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, June 28, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (EDT).

PLACE:	Center for Workforce Development, Tallahassee Community College, 444 Appleyard Drive, Room 105, Building 38, Tallahassee, Florida 32310.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public information meeting regarding the multi-lane reconstruction of two segments of State Road (S.R.) 263 (Capital Circle) in Leon County, Financial Project Identification Numbers: 219749-2-32-01 and 415782-9-52-01. The first segment is S.R. 263 (Capital Circle) from S.R. 61 (Crawfordville Road) to County Road (C.R.) 2203 (Springhill Road). Bids for construction are scheduled to be received fall 2020 for segment two between C.R. 2203 (Springhill Road) and S.R. 371 (Orange Avenue). Improvements to both projects include widening the existing roadway from two lanes to six lanes, adding lighting and constructing stormwater management facilities and intersection improvements. A 10-foot wide path will be constructed on the east side of the roadway and a 5-foot wide sidewalk will be constructed on the west side of both projects. Right-of-way will be required for this project. There will be no formal presentation, however FDOT representatives will be available to discuss improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Maps, drawings, and other project information will be on display.
