73B-3.001	Definitions
73B-3.002	Displaced Homemaker Program Service Provider Application

PURPOSE:

Section 446.50, F.S., requires the department to enter into contracts with, make grants to, public and nonprofit private entities for purposes of establishing multipurpose service programs to provide necessary training, counseling, and services for displaced homemakers so that they may enjoy the independence and economic security vital to a productive life.  The purpose of these rules is to implement this statute.

SUMMARY:

These rules will provide required definitions for the Displaced Homemaker Program as well as explain how to apply to become a service provider, the minimum standards to be a service provider, and the criteria the department will use to assess the effectiveness of service providers.
