61G20-3.008

Approval of Product Evaluation Entities, Product Validation Entities, Testing Laboratories, Certification Agencies, Quality Assurance Agencies and Accreditation Bodies

PURPOSE:

To amend the list of approved product evaluation entities to conform to recent changes made to s. 553.842, F.S.

SUMMARY:

R. 61G20-3.008(1)(a), F.A.C., contains an exclusive list of approved evaluation entities in the State Product Approval Program as prescribed in s. 553.842(8)(a), F.S. The rule will be amended to add Underwriters Laboratories, LLC and Intertek Testing Services NA, Inc. as approved evaluation entities in the rule to conform to changes made to s. 553.842(8)(a), F.S.
