Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation District Six announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

PLACE:	First Presbyterian Church of Miami (social hall behind the sanctuary), 609 Brickell Avenue, Miami, Florida.

Subject:	This workshop is being conducted to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic and environmental effects of the roadway improvement project FM # 412473-1-22-01 otherwise known as SR5/Brickell Avenue Corridor. The limits of the project corridor extend from S. of S.E. 25th Road to S.E. 4th Street in Miami Dade County, a distance of 1.7 miles. The purpose of the project is to provide improvements to safety, operations, pedestrian facilities and aesthetics along this segment of the Brickell Avenue Corridor. This project is being developed in compliance with Titles VI and VIII of the Civil Rights Act.
