Overview



	The Florida Dept. of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 18, 2016, 5:00pm

PLACE:	The Commission Chambers at Delray Beach City Hall 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444

Subject:	Project Description: SR 806/Atlantic Ave improvement project, from the east end of E4 Canal Bridge to NW 10th Ave, in Palm Beach County. FDOT is conducting this Public Information Meeting to present the project progress to date and obtain comments from the general public on the design concept. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2018. This project includes additional thru and turn lanes, widening of the northbound on-ramp and a separated right turn lane to southbound on-ramp. The project also includes milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility improvements, signing and pavement marking upgrades, bicycle facility upgrades, signalization upgrades, traffic monitoring site upgrades, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) upgrades, and lighting upgrades. The meeting format will include an open house from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. during which a continuous PowerPoint presentation will cycle. Representatives of the FDOT will also be available to discuss the improvements and answer questions you may have during the open house. The Department invites public participation and welcomes comments on the proposed improvements.
