Overview



	The The Florida Building Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 16 & 17, 2016, 8:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale, 1100 SE 17th Street Causeway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Subject:	The Florida Building Commission will consider proposed modifications to the 2015 International Codes for inclusion in the Florida Building Code, 6th Edition (2017). The Florida Building Commission will hold a rule adoption hearing pertaining to Rule 61G20-1.001 integrating changes into the Florida Building Code, 5th Edition (2014), resulting from legislation from the 2016 Session, as noticed contemporaneously herewith. The Florida Building Commission will also review and decide on Accessibility Waiver Applications, review and decide on requests for Declaratory Statements; and take up and consider other matters that appear on the Commission’s agenda. The Commission will reconvene on August 17, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at the same location to address the remaining matters on its agenda including the following: Accessibility Waiver Applications: 1. The Magell Inn, 1410 Magellan Dr., Sarasota; 2. Dyer Mazda, 999 US Highway 1, Vero Beach; 3. I-TEC Interior Addition, 10575 SW 147th Cir. Dunnellon; 4. A & S Courier International, 7620 NW 25th St., Suite No: 2, Miami; 5. McHardy Renovation, 432 MLK Blvd., Stuart; 6. Clinton Hotel, 825-835 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 7. 8260 Byron Avenue, 8260 Byron Ave., Miami Beach. Petitions for Declaratory Statement: 1. DS 2016-048, Ted Berman and Associates LLC; 2. DS 2016-049, Patriot Plumbing Corp. of USA; 3. DS 2016-050, Deco-Flash.
