	The Florida Department of Health announces a telephone conference call to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	EMERGENCY MEETING OF BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH ADVISORY COUNCIL TO DETERMINE FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ZIKA VIRUS RESEARCH GRANTS. This is in response to the public health emergency declared by Governor Rick Scott. The declaration is found at the following link: http://www.flgov.com/2016/02/03/gov-rick-scott-directs-public-health-emergency-in-four-counties-for-zika-virus/ Further, on September 22nd, Governor Rick Scott authorized $25 million in state funds for Zika Virus Vaccine Research and Development. This meeting will be to discuss the Funding Opportunity Announcement that will be issued for research grants. The public is notified of this meeting. The notice has been posted on the Department of Health website, and the notification is consistent with other communications for public health emergencies.
