RULE:

14-100.003	Express Lane Tolling

PURPOSE:

This rule is being amended to clarify provisions, define additional terms, and provide an exemption from express lane tolling for certain buses and vanpools.

SUMMARY:

These rule amendments provide for tolling on and off the turnpike system. An exemption from express lane tolling is available for qualified buses and vanpools that register their vehicles.  A per trip penalty for violators has been amended to a daily charge, instead of a per trip charge.
