63M-2.0031

Designated Health Authority

PURPOSE:

In addition to deleting unnecessary language for nonexistent wilderness/expedition programs, the amendment clarifies the required timing of on-site visits for Designated Health Authorities.

SUBJECT:

The rule section describes the responsibilities of the Designated Health Authority, which is the medical professional who has clinical responsibility for all physical health and medical services at facilities and programs for delinquent juveniles.
