Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, February 23, 2017, Open House: 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Formal Presentation: 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Port St. Lucie City Hall, Chamber Room, 121 Port St. Lucie Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. In the event that severe weather or other unforeseen conditions cause the hearing to be postponed, it will be held on the alternate date of Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the same time and location.

Subject:	This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the access management modification design project, located at the intersection of SW Bayshore Boulevard and the Turnpike Access Road in St. Lucie County. The improvements include the removal of the left turn movement from SW Bayshore Blvd. onto the Turnpike Access Road. Motorists will be directed to turn right and make a U-turn at the Crescent Ave. intersection in order to access the Turnpike. The proposed access management modification as part of the Port St. Lucie Interchange Interim Intersection Improvements (Financial Project ID Number: 439153-1-32-01) will provide a safer flow of traffic at the SW Bayshore Blvd. un-signalized intersection.
