6A-3.016

Responsibilities of Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Operations for Student Transportation (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

This rule is to be repealed.

SUMMARY:

This will eliminate redundant responsibilities and oversight of the Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Operations for insurance studies, school bus shop plans, bus purchasing plans and local record keeping, all of which are responsibilities of local school districts. This repeal will also streamline rules by moving the recordkeeping requirement for school districts to use the department’s Online Bus Inventory Application, from rule 6A-3.016, F.A.C., to rule 6A-3.0171, F.A.C.
