Definition of Qualified Instructional Personnel

PURPOSE:

Specify additional in-field conditions currently provided in Florida Statutes that define the qualifications of instructional personnel enabling school districts to comply with the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

SUMMARY:

This amendment eliminates reference to the High, Objective, Uniform State Standard of Evaluation (HOUSSE) plan option; adds four additional in-field designations currently provided in Florida Statutes that define qualifications of instructional personnel; and updates outdated language from vocational to career and technical.
