PURPOSE:

New section 985.6865, Florida Statutes, now governs the sharing of detention costs between the state and counties.  Rule sections 63G-1.010-.018, which implement the earlier statutory scheme in section 985.686, are no longer necessary.

SUMMARY:

The rule sections implementing section 985.686, Florida Statutes, are obsolete and in need of repeal.
