Records Retention Scheduling and Disposition

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate by reference revised General Records Schedule GS1-SL for State and Local Government Agencies and General Records Schedule GS2 for Law Enforcement, Correctional Facilities, and District Medical Examiners.

SUMMARY:

General retention schedules established by the Division of Library and Information Services in the Department of State, which are used by agencies in the disposition and destruction of public records.
