Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	June 27, 2017, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Clay County Supervisor of Elections Office, 500 North Orange Avenue, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043

Subject:	This Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public hearing regarding State Road 15 (U.S. 17) at State Road 16 intersection, Financial Project ID: 436118-1 in Clay County, Florida. The proposed recommended improvements include: Replacement of the traffic signal and pedestrian features at the intersection; Installation of a new traffic separator on State Road 16; Construct dual southbound left turn lanes on US 17 and widen State Road 16 to four lanes; Construction of a westbound left turn lane on State Road 16; Construct a northbound left-turn lane on US 17 at the median opening north of State Road 16; Extend the westbound right-turn lane on State Road 16; and adjust drainage to accommodate the proposed improvements. This hearing will begin with an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
