Overview



	The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, August 29, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

PLACE:	Spanish River Library,1501 NW Spanish River Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33431

Subject:	The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) has scheduled a Public Kick-Off Meeting to discuss the Boca Raton II Tri-Rail Station Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. This study is being conducted to evaluate a proposed second Tri-Rail station in Boca Raton near Glades Road and Military Trail. This additional station will benefit the local residents, students, workers of nearby employment centers and patrons of area businesses. The meeting will be an open house with representatives from the SFRTA available to answer questions. There will be a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m. followed by a comment period. Maps, drawings and other information will be available. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being carried-out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
