Overview

RULE:

11C-6.004	Procedures for Requesting Criminal History Records
11C-6.009	Sale and Delivery of Firearms
11C-6.010	Retention of Applicant Fingerprints

PURPOSE:

11C-6.004: The rule change is requested to be consistent with current methods of Florida criminal history record check requests and correct a statute reference. Additionally, the Volunteer and Employee Criminal History System (VECHS) Qualified Entity Application was recently updated. The change reflects the current version of the VECHS Qualified Entity Application. 
11C-6.009: Amended to reflect the current ATF 4473 form (10/2016) and expand options for a licensed firearm dealer to pay his or her monthly invoice.
11C-6.010: Amend Law Implemented section to add statutes that authorize fingerprint retention.
