59A-4.1265

Emergency Environmental Control for Nursing Homes

PURPOSE:

This rule establishes criteria for nursing home preparation and maintenance of emergency power in order to protect the health, safety, comfort, and welfare of nursing home residents in the event of the loss of primary electrical power.

SUMMARY:

Rule 59A-4.1265 outlines the requirements for alternative power sources to provide emergency environmental control for nursing homes that experience loss of power.
