RULE:

68A-4.001

General Prohibitions

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to increase public safety in regards to free roaming non-human primates. The effect of the proposed rule amendment would be to decrease the occasion for public contact with free roaming non- human primates.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment is to add a prohibition of feeding free roaming, non-human primates to the current list of species covered by this rule.

Article IV, Section 9, Florida Constitution.
