Claims Data Collection

PURPOSE:

The Agency is statutorily mandated to create a new section of rules to establish requirements for submission, collection, and publication of claims data pursuant to section 408.05, Florida Statutes, as well as requirements for implementation of a consumer friendly, internet-based platform that will be used to publish information derived from the claims data for public use.

SUMMARY:

Rule 59E-9.010, F.A.C., defines the requirements for submission of data by insurers and health maintenance organizations and the requirements of which data will be collected.
