Overview



	The Department of Children and Families (DCF) Refugee Services Program and the Broward County Task Force announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, September 20, 2018; 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

PLACE:	Urban League of Broward County 560 NW 27th Avenue., Conference Room 121 Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33311

Subject:	Community Meeting: The purpose of this DCF Community Meeting is to discuss the future goals and the service delivery system of refugee services in Broward County, Florida. This meeting is to prepare the community prior to issuing a solicitation/procurement document. Matters discussed in the meeting are preliminary and any conclusions are subject to change. The solicitation/procurement document, upon publication, will be the authoritative document and will control over any discussions in this meeting. Task Force: The purpose of the Broward County Task Force meeting is to increase awareness of the refugee populations, share best practices, spot trends in refugee populations, build collaborations between agencies, help create good communication among service providers, get informed about upcoming community events, and discuss refugee program service needs and possible solutions to meeting those needs.
