Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	February 22, 2018, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Bronson Town Hall, 660 E. Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, FL 32621

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend the public hearing for the proposed improvements to County Road (CR) 339 Bridge over Little Waccasassa River, Financial Management Number 437405-1-22-01 in Levy County, Florida. The hearing will begin at 4:30 pm to give you an opportunity to review the exhibits and talk one-on-one with FDOT staff. A formal presentation will take place at 6:00 pm followed by a public comment period. The FDOT is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study on CR 339 bridge over the Little Waccasassa River. The proposed improvements will shift the existing CR 339/SR 500 (US 27 Alternate) intersection approximately 1,700 feet to the west. FDOT encourages you to get involved and provide comments regarding the social, economic, access management, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. As of February 1, 2018, project documents will be available for review at the Bronson Public Library located at 600 Gilbert Street, Bronson, FL 32621. Persons wishing to submit written comments may do so at the public hearing or mail/email them to the address provided no later than March 4, 2018. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
