Mandatory Standardized Informed Consent for Medical Marijuana; Required Documentation for Comparable Medical Conditions; Required Documentation for Smokable Medical Marijuana

PURPOSE:

The proposed new rule is intended to incorporate the Board’s medical marijuana consent form and the form for comparable medical conditions into the Board’s rule.

SUMMARY:

The proposed new rule incorporates the mandatory informed consent form which must be utilized by qualified physicians who certify patients for medical marijuana.  Additionally, the rule incorporates the form which must be utilized by qualified physicians who issue physician certifications for medical marijuana to patients with comparable medical conditions.
