PURPOSE:

To streamline and clarify rules implementing Sections 290.0401-.048, F.S., the Florida Cities Block Grant Act.

SUMMARY:

Sections 290.0401-.048, F.S., enacts the Florida Cities Block Grant Act for the purpose of assisting local governments in undertaking community and economic development programs necessary to preserve, redevelop, and revitalize distressed communities, and includes the application and scoring criteria for disaster relief funding for 2016 Hurricanes Matthew and Hermine.
