Overview



	The State Board of Education announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 17, 2018, 4:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, Osceola A 1500 Masters Blvd, ChampionsGate, FL 33896

Subject:	This will be a two-hour Informational session on Career and Technical Education (CTE). Postsecondary and secondary teachers and students will demonstrate innovative practices presented in the CTE classroom and laboratory. In addition, there will be a focus group of secondary, district postsecondary and college postsecondary educators to discuss the following: Innovative Partnerships with Business and Between Postsecondary Institutions; What’s Working in CTE Today; and Challenges with Maintaining and Creating Programs. There will be no action taken.
