	The City of New Smyrna Beach announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, November 1, 2018, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

PLACE:	Smyrna Yacht Club, 1201 S. Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168

Subject:	5th Street Bridge Replacement Design Project Financial Management No.: 437936-1 Project Description: The City of New Smyrna Beach invites all persons to a public meeting regarding the design of a replacement bridge along 5th Street over Yacht Club Cut in New Smyrna Beach, Volusia County. The purpose of the project is to design a replacement bridge in the same location as the current bridge. The public meeting will be conducted as an open house in which attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the project, view exhibits and speak with project team members. There will not be a formal presentation. Public participation in this project is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. Persons wishing to express their concerns relative to FDOT compliance with Title VI may do so by contacting Jennifer Smith, FDOT District Five Title VI Coordinator at jennifer.smith2@dot.state.fl.us. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
