	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, October 25, 2018, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Centro Asturiano de Tampa, Ballroom, 1913 North Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33602

Subject:	This Historic Resources Information Meeting #2 is for the Tampa Interstate Study (TIS), Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS).The project limits are I-275 from the Howard Frankland Bridge to north of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and I-4 from I-275 to east of 50th Street, Work Program Item Segment Number: 258337-2, Hillsborough County, Florida. The meeting is part of the coordination for the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) that will be prepared for the Tampa Interstate Study (TIS). The SEIS will focus on the downtown and Westshore interchanges areas. The SEIS is a fresh look at the long-standing plan to improve and modernize Tampa’s interstate system, originally called the TIS. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information to residents, local public officials, and interested persons and organizations relative to the process and schedule for identifying and evaluating historic resources, determining significant historic properties, and eventually evaluating potential impacts to significant historic properties. During the meeting, representatives of the FDOT plus other state and federal agencies will be available to discuss the process, answer questions, and receive comments specific to concerns about historic resources. This meeting will share results of the Cultural Resources Assessment Survey (CRAS) Update recently submitted to the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Historic resource mitigation implemented to date for TIS, as well as methodology moving forward, will also be on display. Please understand this is the second informal meeting, not a public hearing, in a series of three informal meetings specifically related to historic resources and the Section 106 process.
